Non-Degree Programs – Preserving Food at Home

 

 

Preserving Food at Home
Date: Thurs., March 14 – 28

Time: 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Fee: $75 per person (Ages 12-16 free if accompanied with paying adult.)
Instructors: Tammy Rorie and Donna Ewer


This class will cover the many simple home food preservation techniques that leave you with delicious fruit and vegetables all year long. Instruction in how to select the correct method for what you desire to preserve and provide hands-on instruction in water bath canning. A $10 supply fee is to be paid to the instructor at the first class meeting.
