Follow the instructions below to complete computer-based training:

- First, go to the Computer-Based Training homepage.
- If you have not already, use the side menu to REGISTER. You only need to do this once.
- Once you have registered, LOG IN using the side menu.
- Next, click "View Extended Catalog".
- Select the desired course from the list.
- The "Expected Duration" of the course refers to the actual amount of training hours that will be awarded upon completion.
- If you would like to take the course now, then click "Play Course". To take the course later, add it to "My Plan".
- When you're ready to start, click "Begin Course".
- Once you have completed the training course, make sure you "Take Test".
- Print Test Scores or Certificate, if preferred.

To set up a Net ID for online training:

- On top right hand side of screen
- Go to People Search on drop down menu
- Type name into search box

To set up a password for online training:

On current directory screen (Net ID screen):
- On the left hand side, click on Initial Password Setup
- You will need your NET ID, University ID, and your Birthdate
(Your University ID will be your Social Security #)
- Follow prompts until finished.
- Click Enable (this will enable online password reset)
- Follow prompts until finished.
- Enter Net ID and Password
- Click Submit Registration.
(You may already have needed password if you:
- Have Grant-Effort Certification
- Print Invoices from UT System
- Do IRIS from home)
