Introduction to the iPad

In this strictly beginner's class, you will be taken step by step through the basics of using the iPad and learning its capabilities. You will learn how to identify device buttons, switches, and status icons, learn to type with the onscreen keyboard, and how to change basic settings. There will be an overview of the iPad's built in apps as well as instruction on how to purchase apps from the app store and redeem iTunes gift cards.

 

Intermediate iPad -- NEW!

Do you understand the basics of the iPad, but would like to learn more? In this intermediate iPad class, you will learn tips and tricks to get the most out of your iPad, plus you’ll discover some great apps for organizing, communicating, educating, reading, writing, and having fun! We’ll cover topics such as the iCloud, best ways to search for apps, transferring photos between devices, advanced settings, & the newest iOS features and gestures. Note: Some apps that will be demonstrated cost money, so please bring a notepad to take notes or have money available in your Apple account if you want to purchase the apps. Participants must also bring their Apple ID and password which was created when the iPad was first purchased.

You bought the iPad, now what do you do? Our iPad Workshop will show you everything from the basics of how to set things up, all the way to using the iPad in the office. You will be able to get the most out of the iCloud with your iPad, iPhone, and/or iTouch.
