Introduction

UT Martin Online prides itself in connecting students to our campus and faculty to provide educational opportunities that align with your schedule and fit within your daily life. That’s why we are proud to announce our inaugural Skyhawk Summer Academy.

 

Engulf yourself in our hybrid non-degree program that connects online learning and hands-on experience as you learn about:

  • Small Animal Veterinary Science
  • Precision Agriculture (including Drone Technology)
  • Equestrian/Horsemanship
  • Culinary Arts

ONLINE EXPERIENCE – includes six weeks on online course material to engulf yourself and enrich your knowledge within the program area of your choice. Utilizing Canvas, our new learning management system for the university, students will engage our professors and other students to examine innovative approaches in their specialized fields of study.

 

ON-CAMPUS EXPERIENCE – at the conclusion of the online portion of the course, students visit campus for a 3-day, hands-on program where you meet your professor, fellow classmates, and UT Martin staff to try your hand at utilizing the knowledge you gained. **Lodging and meals are included with the price**

 

Designed for: Individuals interested in learning about innovation, new technology and techniques (ages 16 and older)

 

**minors must be accompanied by an adult - $250 for a course participant; $125 for non-participant (includes lodging and meals)**

 

Dates: Online Portion April 24 – June 2, 2017
On-Campus June 9, 10, & 11

Cost: $250 per person

For those who want to pursue agriculture, veterinary science, or culinary arts beyond these summer's non-credit courses, UT Martin offers bachelor's degrees in all these fields with completely online options for agribusiness, farm & ranch management, and a veterinary science completion program.
