Interdisciplinary - Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice Program of Study is available in the Master of Science in Education degree program’s Interdisciplinary Option for those students who have obtained a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. The interdisciplinary approach provides a versatile graduate education experience in which students benefit from high-quality teaching and research opportunities while developing the skills to articulate and disseminate information within either educational or professional contexts.
The program consists of 37 semester hours, including an educational core curriculum complimented by 18 hours of course work in criminal justice. Students are required to conduct a research project and pass a Criminal Justice Subject Area Examination.
