Engineering Program

The Bachelor of Engineering Degree is a general engineering program that is accrediated by the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC)of the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET). The UT Martin Engineering program has a set of program objectives and outcomes that have been established by our constituency, made up of faculty, students, graduates, parents, engineering employees, university administration, and the Industrial Advisory Board.

To meet these objectives and outomes, a broad based engineering curriculum has been developed that provides the engineering student with a solid foundation in engineering fundamentals, as well as specialized courses in specific engineering disciplines.

The program is implemented with a course schedule that is taylored to the needs of the individual student, with personalized advising throughout the educational experience.

The engineering courses are offered in modern classroom settings, with state-of-the-art computer laboratories, hands-on teaching laboratories, and a dedicated student project developement lab.
