A. Recruitment Materials

1. Announcements, brochures, bulletins, catalogs, and application forms which are made available to applicants for admission and employment, students, employees, elementary and secondary school students, and sources of referral of applicants for admission and employment.

2. Announcements, publications, bulletins, brochures, application forms, and other materials otherwise used in conjunction with the recruitment of students or employees.

3. Notices, which are not paid advertisements, sent to other colleges and universities, referral sources, individuals, and agencies to solicit applications or nominations for positions.  Personal letters soliciting nominations from individuals need not include this statement.  Generally speaking, however, personal letters should be accompanied by a notice of vacancy, giving requirements and duties, which notice must include the statement in full.

The statement must appear in full in announcements, brochures, leaflets, booklets, newsletters, and other publications which contain general information and which are distributed or made available to alumni, applicants for admission or employment, employees, students, or other participants in or beneficiaries of UTM programs.
