WHAT IS BEING DONE HOW IT IS BEING DONE WHEN IT IS BEING DONE
1. Equity and Diversity Officer will present progress reports to faculty and administrative groups.  Equity and Diversity Officer will continue to meet with various groups and discuss the need for continued institutional commitment to increasing the number of females and African Americans (AA) in faculty and administrative positions.  Throughout the academic school year. 
2. Consciousness-raising sessions with academic administrators and search committees relative to the need to diversify the University.  Equity and Diversity Officer will present special reports articulating the need for increasing the number of women and AA faculty members and administrators in special meetings with search committees.  Throughout the academic school year, especially the Spring Semester. 
3. Position announcements strongly encourage women and minorities to apply for advertised faculty and administrative positions.  Monitored by the Equity and Diversity Officer.  Throughout the academic school year. 
4. The chair of the Department of Nursing increases the number of African American nurses in the Department Monitored by Academic Affairs and Equity and Diversity. Throughout the academic school year. 
5. Female and minority representation on all search committees is required.  Chair employs special recruitment strategies. Throughout the academic school year. 
6. Female and minority representation on all search committess required   Monitored by Equity and Diversity Office. Year-round activity. 
7. Search committees are provided information on availability of females and minorities in various academic fields.  Equity and Diversity Officer meets with all search committees and shares information relative to availability of females and minorities in underutilized job groups. Throughout the academic school year, especially the Spring Semester. 
8. Search committees advertise all academic and administrative positions thru electronic (e-Recruiting), The Chronicle, and Southern Region Educational Board (SREB) list serve. Monitored by Academic Affairs Office and the Equity and Diversity Office by checking all search plans.  Throughout the academic school year, especially the Sprint Semester.

05, Technical/Paraprofessional – Underutilization of Females,  Minorities,
and Blacks; 06, Skilled Crafts (Non-supervisors) for Females

1. Web-based for non-expemt clerical positions. State-wide recruitment systems have access to information about existing vacancies through web-based advertising. Throughout the academic school year.
