The University of Tennessee at Martin Affirmative Action Plan year is October 1 to September 30. Data reflected in the UTM AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN represent the immediate past period, October 1 to September 30. These data are utilized within the PLAN in order to provide consistency with reporting done through the EEO-6 reporting process, which report reflects staffing at the pay period closest to October 1 of each year. Although the EEO-6 report is required to be submitted to the Federal Government biennially, UTM prepares the report annually as a means of assessing performance and evaluating program goals. The AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN is revised each year following the closure of the Affirmative Action Plan Year data period, and is then distributed. Other revisions of textual portions of the PLAN as well as revisions of data are distributed as appropriate during the operating year.
