Education Student Services


Education Student Services serves as a support unit for assisting students and faculty in the areas of advisement and program planning, directed field experiences, student recruitment, student scholarship awards, and certification/licensure requests.


Deadlines and Announcements

"NEW" Effective Fall 2015, students must pass ALL Praxis exams required for licensure prior to being admitted to student teaching. For additional information, contact the Office of Education Student Services located in 205 Gooch Hall.


"NEW" Effective Fall 2013, a $400 Student Teaching Placement fee will be charged to your Banner account when you register for student teaching courses. You will see this charge when fees are assessed for the term you plan to student teach. Financial aid may be used to cover this expense. Additional information is provided on the "Student Teaching- Application" tab.


Student Teaching Application Deadlines

Deadline for student teaching and counseling internship applications for Fall 2016 is February 2, 2016!


Applications must be completed online!

NOTE: Instructions state that in addition to your online submission a hard copy (signed by faculty advisor) AND photograph must be submitted to Gooch 205 by the deadline.


NOTE: Your application will not be considered COMPLETE until the on-line process AND required hard copy documents are received
