Caption Page |
An
explanatory caption page should provide information about the documented
evidence presented throughout the professional portfolio. The explanations
provide a better understanding of each document and why they are presented
in the portfolio. The explanations can include: |
• a rationale for the
selection of the document
• a description of the event
• the teacher/student learning outcomes resulting from the experience
• whether the piece of evidence is a reflection
of diversity, assessment, and/or technology
An explanatory caption page should be placed throughout the entire portfolio
giving a brief description of each piece of evidence documented. The
length of an explanatory caption page can vary from a full page to a
short caption connected to a photograph(s) or some other entry.
