The Northwest Child Care Resource and Referral provides assistance to child care providers, to parents of children with disabilities, and to all communities in Northwest Tennessee.

Based upon expressed needs, the Child Care Resource and Referral may :

visit the licensed/registered center or home

send materials and information

make a referral to an authority in a specific field

organize a training on various topics including:

+ Administration
+ Child Development
+ Developmentally Appropriate Behavior Management
+ Early Childhood Education
+ Health and Safety

A lending of library books, videos, toys, and theme boxes with curriculum ideas, health and safety information, and multi-cultural activities is available FREE to providers for a 30-day period. A unique feature of the new program is that the center is mobile. The CCR&R's van will travel, as needed, to child care centers and homes.

The Child Care Resource and Referral serves Benton, Carroll, Crockett, Dyer, Gibson, Henry, Lake, Obion, and Weakley counties in Northwest Tennessee. It is located on University Street, Martin, TN.
