The Food and Nutrition curriculum includes courses in:

  • Food Science
  • Food Systems Management
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Business Administration
  • Liberal Arts

Our program gives you the opportunity to study the many aspects of food and nutrition in order to seek career opportunities and a variety of areas.

 

NOTE: The completion of the Food and Nutrition concentration does NOT qualify an individual to become a Registered Dietitian (RD). For students aspiring to become a Registered Dietitian (RD), the Food and Nutrition concentration is a starting point with students first being enrolled in this program before completing specific criteria in order to be considered for entry in the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD).
