                Summer Deferment Information

Deadline to set up Deferment:  May 1, 2008

Students who do not request deferment by May 1 will not be allowed to defer.  Students that do set up a deferment plan by May 1 must pay the deferment fee at the time the deferment is set up.

A fee of $10 for one session or $20 for two sessions is due to Business Affairs by May 1st to participate.  The first deferment payment is due May 29, 2008.  The second (final) deferment payment is due by June 20, 2008, to avoid a $25 late fee.

Remember:  Confirm your Registration by May 29, online through Banner, or at the Business Affairs Office or by mail to Business Affairs, so that your classes won't be dropped.  If classes are dropped, you will have to register again.

Fees can be paid, starting March 31, 2008:

    1.  At the Business Affairs Office, Cashier Windows, 116 Administration Bldg.

    2.  By mail (received by May 29), UTM Business Affairs, 116 Administration Bldg., Martin, TN  38238

    3.  Via the Web:  Personal Check, Discover, MasterCard, & Visa    

    4.  Fee Waiver (Discount) Forms--fax to (731) 881-7813.  Please mail original to UTM, Business Affairs, 116 Administration Bldg., Martin, TN   38238.                                                                                                                                        

It is the Student's responsibility to complete the registration process by paying fees and confirming plans to attend.

Purge Dates:  May 29 & June 4, 2008; 2nd Session Purge Date:  July 10, 2008
