1. How and where can I pay my fees?
- At the Business Office (116 Administration Bldg.)
- By mail - Confirmation of Enrollment and payment must be received in the Business Office before the deadline. Allow for mail time.
- Via the web - UTM accepts Discover, Master Card, and Visa.
2. Is there a payment plan?
Yes, currently, UTM has one deferment plan: (form)
[(current term charges-financial aid)/2] +($25) +prior term charges = Amount Due by deadline. Second payment is due 45 days after classes begin.
3. What if financial aid and/or scholarships pay 100% of my fees?
- Assuming you have no other charges such as telephone, traffic, etc., simply notify the Business Office to confirm your classes.
This can be done:
- Via the web
- By mailing or bringing confirmation of enrollment card to the Business Office (form)
4. What happens if I forget to pay my fees by the deadline?
- It is the student's responsibility to complete the registration process by paying/confirming fees.
- If you fail to pay your fees by the deadline, your class schedule will be dropped and you will need to register again. There is no guarantee you will be able to get the same classes. Your fees are then due immediately or they will be dropped again.
5. How do I calculate my amount due?
- Look at your statement, focus on the charges and credits listed directly under the schedule and follow the directions below.
- For full payment:
Add all charges listed just below the schedule.
Subtract all payments listed under credits/ anticipated credits.
Send the balance and the confirmation card. (If you owe zero or less than zero, send the confirmation card)

6. How do I get information about my account?
- Check your student email account for important updates and reminders.
- You can view your account on Banner web.
