- After all financial aid has been applied, you can defer up to one half
of the remaining balance of your fees.
You must pay the first one-half plus a $25 service charge and all
previous balances by 5:00 PM on the drop date – January 11, 2007.
- The second half will be due by 5:00 PM on March 1, 2007.

- DEFERMENT AGREEMENT

am requesting that my fees be set up on the University’s payment
plan. I understand that I must
pay 1/2 of the fees + deferment service fee + any prior term charges at
this time. I agree to pay the
remaining 1/2 of the fees by the due date specified on the deferment
calculation form. If my payment
is not in the Business Office by the due date, I understand that I will
be charged an additional $25.00 late fee. I also understand that if I do not pay
the remainder of my fees by the due date, my account will be placed in a
delinquent status and I will be responsible for all costs incurred by
the University in collecting such overdue amount, including but not
limited to attorney’s fees and collection agency fees.

Business Affairs, 116 Administration Building, Martin, TN 38238
- Federal regulations
require the school to obtain the student’s signature as authorization to
apply Title IV funds to (1) allowable charges other than fees, tuition
and dorm room and (2) prior-year charges if your current funds are
enough to cover both current and prior-year charges. Without your
permission below, your Title IV funds will pay current fees, tuition and
dorm room charges only. You will be responsible for any remaining
charges.

- Any aid left over after the student’s tuition, dorm and meal plan are
paid will be refunded to the student by check or electronically to the
student’s bank account.
- Freshman loans will not be disbursed from the lender until 30 days after
classes begin.
- If these funds are needed to purchase books, up to $500 can be put on
the student’s skyhawk card.
