NEW Online Application Process for Classified Staff

 

Effective December 4, 2006, The University of Tennessee implemented a new on-line, web-based employment system. Applicants for classified (non-exempt) positions are now able to register their employment application electronically, as well as apply for a specific position. 

 

We invite you to go online by clicking on one of the two choices above according to your status: (1) UT Student or non-UT employee or (2) current UT regular or temporary employee . Click on "I'm interested in a career at the University of Tennessee" if you are not a current regular or temporary employee at the university. You should register your information by clicking on "First-Time Registration."   You may then complete your application by clicking on "Complete or Edit My Profile."

If you are a current regular or temporary UT employee, you should click on "I'm already a University of Tennessee employee." Since you are already registered, you will click on "Login to Search and Apply for Jobs". If you are unable to log on at the Administrative Portal, click here for instructions --ADMINISTRATIVE PORTAL INFORMATION.

 

Applicants may attach a résumé and other documents as you complete your application, and the application and/or documents may be updated at your convenience.  A department will not be able to access your information until you actually apply for their specific position.

Vacancies for all UT campuses will be posted together, so if you are only interested in employment on the Martin campus, you will need to select Martin when viewing the position vacancies.  When you learn of a vacancy for which you wish to apply, you will go online to apply for that position.  At that time you may also wish to attach a cover letter for the specific position for which you are applying.
