The Minor in Dance strives to provide the dance student with comprehensive training in the historical, theoretical, analytical, and practical aspects of dance. The courses below represent the minimum requirements for a dance minor. Students are encouraged to supplement their studies with additional dance-related courses.
Minor in Dance:
8 credit hours from Ballet and/or Contemporary Dance technique electives
4 credit hours of Dance Ensemble (DANC 150, 350)
Understanding Dance 110 (DANC 110)
Dance History and Contemporary Issues (DANC 415)
Choreography I (DANC 240)
