Welcome to the University of Tennessee at Martin Trombone Studio Web Site. UT Martin is located in beautiful Northwest
Tennessee. Our growing, thriving music department offers many
opportunities for trombonists such as solo performances,
chamber music, two concert bands, and the Skyhawk Marching Band.
Whether you want to major in music, or just keep your chops
up after high school, there is a place for you at UT Martin. We have
scholarship opportunities for both music majors and non-majors.
If you are ever in the area, I hope you’ll stop by and
visit.

Looking for information about tuba and euphonium at UT Martin? Check out Dr. Coker's tuba/euph site: www.utm.edu/tuba.
In December 2006, Dr. Kolwinska spent ten days in Japan as an exchange professor at Hirosaki University. He presented a solo recital with pianist Kiyoshi Asano, gave a lecture on 18th Century trombone playing, and taught masterclasses with brass students from the university and the Aomori Trombone Ensemble.
