Our growing, thriving music department offers many opportunities for trombonists such as solo performances, chamber music, two concert bands, and the Skyhawk Marching Band.

In December 2006, Dr. Kolwinska spent ten days in Japan as an exchange professor at Hirosaki University. He presented a solo recital with pianist Kiyoshi Asano, gave a lecture on 18th Century trombone playing, and taught masterclasses with brass students from the university and the Aomori Trombone Ensemble.
