Faith
My Christian faith is very important to me. My family and I are members at First Baptist Church here in Martin. Here on campus, check out the Noonday lunches at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry here at UT Martin (Wednesdays at noon-everyone is welcome).
Home Maintenance
It's not the Taj Mahal, but I enjoy working on my house and yard. I consider it my hobby. One of my favorite stores is Lowe's.
Reading
Reading is another one of my hobbies. My parents got me hooked when I was a kid. It is difficult to find the time to read, but I do what I can. I read lots of non-fiction, but I enjoy easy and fun fiction by authors like Jack Higgins, Daniel Silva, and John Grisham. My current and recent reading list includes: Joy at Work by Dennis Bakke, Tommy Dorsey: Livin' in a Big Way by Peter Levinson, and Art for God's Sake by Philip Graham Ryken. Magazines I read: The Chronicle of Higher Education, World Magazine, This Old House, Family Handyman, and MacWorld.
