Jonathan Byrd
Jonathan Byrd (Troy, Tennessee) is a third-year BM, Euphonium, Music Education Major. He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia men's music fraternity. Jenny Cooper
Jenny Cooper (Camden, Tennessee) is student teaching in the Fall of 2008, having successfully completed her course requirements as a BM, Euphonium, Music Education Major. Her love of music began through her church and band experiences. Jenny is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, a professional women's music fraternity. She plans to become an elementary general music teacher upon her graduation in December 2008. Jenny is a graduate of Camden High School.
"My favorite part of being a member of the Tuba-Euphonium studio is building personal confidence as a musician through the support from my fellow studio members and teachers. I have been able to grow in the studio and become closer to the other members, while receiving great confidence boosters from all my colleagues.
