Application Deadline
Completed application files (including all documentation required for the admission category and graduate program requested) are due in the Graduate Studies Office 28 days prior to the first day of the semester for which admission is requested. Completed application files submitted by the deadline will be guaranteed a decision on admissibility before the term begins.
The deadline for Maymester 2012 is April 16, 2012.
The deadline for Summer 2012 is May 7, 2012.
The deadline for Fall 2012 is July 30, 2012.
The deadline for Spring 2013 is December 13, 2012.
The deadline for Maymester 2013 is April 15, 2013.
The deadline for Summer 2013 is May 6, 2013.
Eligibility for Financial Aid
Students must have degree-seeking admission and enroll in six (6) hours to be eligible for financial aid. Non-degree students are not eligible for financial aid. Contact the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office for more information.
No Summer Commencement Ceremony
Degrees will be awarded in summer but there will be no commencement ceremony. Students who complete degree requirements in Summer term can participate in the December ceremony.
Transcript Fee
Effective July 1, 2009, there will be a $5 charge for each UT Martin transcript. Applicants for graduate admission will be responsible for contacting Academic Records to request their UT Martin transcript be sent to the Graduate Studies Office.

Academic good standing – now called academically eligible.
Academic probation – now called academically eligible—warning.
Academic suspension – now called academically ineligible.
