Allan Cox


Cox was a quarterback for four seasons, including the Tangerine Bowl and Atlantic Coast College Division championship team of 1967. He accumulated a total of 2,934 passing yards and 27 touchdown passes.


He won a Bronze Star with Valor for Heroism in Vietnam as an infantry platoon leader with 101st Airborne Division. He returned to UTM following his military service to obtain his master's degree and was on the football coaching staff in 1971-72.
