 Vernon Prather Prather was a three-year starting quarterback from 1960-62. He earned All-Volunteer State Athletic Conference honors his junior and senior years. Prather was a highly-successful prep football and baseball coach at Wade Hampton High in Greeneville, S.C. His 1968 football team advanced to the state semi-finals. He returned to his alma mater in 1969 as an assistant football coach for five seasons and head baseball coach for 22 seasons. |
