Banner Administrative Personal Menu

The Banner personal menu allows for a user to create of list of forms, jobs, menus, and QuickFlows that are most important to your daily work. Once you create a personal menu, it can be accessed from the main menu.

 

To create your personal menu, go to the main menu and double-click on My Banner.

 

Next, double-click on Empty; Select to build. [GUAPMNU]

You should now be in the My Banner Maintenance form.

This form contains 3 main parts:

  • The left pane lists the available forms, jobs, menus, or QuickForms that can be added to the personal menu.
  • The middle of the form contains buttons used to insert your selections, remove selections, insert all items listed from the left pane, and remove all items from the right pane.

  • The right pane lists the contents of the personal menu.

When you select an object type from the pull-down list above the left pane, a list of associated objects appears in the left pain.

Once you have selected a type, within the list of associated objects, double click on the object you want to add (the text will become blue) and then use the Insert single arrow pointing right or Insert All double arrow pointing right button.

You should now see the selected object in the right pane list.

Once you have listed the objects for your personal menu, make sure to save Floppy Disk/Save image your changes.

 

When you go back to the main menu, you will be able to access your personal menu under My Banner.

 

Please note that if your menu changes do not appear at first, you may need to log out of banner and log back in for the changes to take effect.

To add or remove objects from your personal menu, double-click on Organize My Banner [GUAPMNU].

 

You will be able to add objects as stated previously.

 

To remove objects from a personal menu, double-click on the object (the text will become blue), and then use the Delete Single arrow pointing left or Delete All Double arrow pointing left button. Make sure to save Floppy Disk/Save image any changes.
