Entrance Requirements for the Honors Seminar Program

• 3.5 high school GPA
• 28 composite ACT score or 1240 SAT score
• Students who apply for admission to UTM by the deadline for Chancellor's/Dean's scholarship consideration are automatically considered for admittance to the Honors Seminar Program (see Admissions Office for more information on deadlines).

Entrance Requirements for the University Scholars Program
High School Seniors:

• 3.5 high school GPA
• 28 composite ACT score of 1240 SAT score

If you are a college freshman or transfer student from another university you will be considered by invitation only.

Application Process:

• Obtain, complete, and turn in the University Scholars application.
• Attend the Scholars Prospect Weekend, after which the Honors Council selects fifteen entering Freshmen and (typically) two current or transfer student for the program.
