Guest Artists

Here at UTM, we strive to make the music world a small and accessible place for our majors. Therefore, every year, we bring in guest artists and scholars that you can learn from, talk with, perform for, and with which to create lasting relationships.

The UTM Horn Studio also makes several trips a year to hear various professional orchestras, chamber ensembles, and soloists. Many times the members of the studio get to personally interact with these artists! It's fun AND educational! We also travel to Horn Days and other horn / brass events in the region.

This year, the horn studio is excited to welcome the following guest artists to campus:

Jeff Nelsen

January 19-20, 2018

Friday, the 19th - 530pm Recital / Masterclass (Making It in Music)

Saturday, the 20th - 1230pm - Fearless Performance Lecture

Jeff will also be meeting the horn studio in group and individual setting for horn specific topics!

Click here for more information about Jeff!

Lauren Becker

February 21, 2018
