Internet
You can access your email, the World Wide Web, UT Martin's library, and other Internet services from around the world from the convenience of your own residence hall room or apartment with your personal computer. The campus operates a Local Area Network that provides direct Internet access to students living on campus. Residents living in University Village will also have wireless internet access. To make your computer network ready you need a 10BaseT Ethernet adapter card, or a wireless card for University Village, that can be purchased from the UT Martin Computer Store. You will also have an IT Help Desk just a phone call away at 7900. Laundry
Residents in University Village will have a washer and dryer in each apartment for their personal use that is included with their rent at no extra charge.
Newly renovated laundry facilities are located in the basements of Cooper Hall, Ellington Hall, Browning Hall, and in the University Courts complex. These laundry facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art Maytag washers and dryers which operate with the Skyhawk Card for your convenience. Your Skyhawk card can be reloaded in the Library, or online through Banner.

- Don't overload the washing machines
It costs $2.00 to wash each load, but drying is free of charge.
Telephone Service
UT Martin operates its own telephone communications system. The cost of the local telephone service is part of the semester room rent. A long distance service for students is available for an additional charge. A voicemail account is also available. All of the residence halls have a telephone outlet located in each room. University Village, University Courts, and Grove have one telephone outlet per apartment. Residents are responsible for providing their own phone. Cable Service
Bring your cable ready TV, and you will be able to receive over 70 channels:
basic, four premium (HBO), student information, student movie, instructional films, live broadcasts of selected UT Martin events and other selected educational channels from your residence hall room. Cable service is included at no extra charge.
Postal Service
Residents in University Village will have an assigned mail box at the University Post Office located in the University Center. This box will be for regular mail only. For deliveries, the resident must give the delivery company the location of their apartment. All postal service to University Village will be operated by the University Post Office.
Log on to Banner Web, select your Personal Menu where you will find the address inquiry option, to identify your exact mailing address.

Residents in University Courts and Grove have their mail delivered by the city postal service. This service is expedited if the occupants do not include UT Martin as part of their return address and if they use the zip code of 38237. Example of a Residence Hall Address
