NEW!! EXTRA SUMMERTERM ADDED

Julie Boyce Retires

Julie Boyce retired in the early summer of 2005 after working at UT Martin since 1987. She helped international students with many documents, making telephone calls, solving problems, and understanding lots of procedures as well as signing students up for trips. She had many other duties at TIEP that are too numerous to mention! At her retirement dinner at Capone's restaurant in Fulton, Kentucky, she and her husband both said they hoped to do some traveling now that they will have more free time. Julie is also an avid backyard bird watcher.

Julie is really missed at TIEP and as Janie Crews said, "Nobody can replace Julie."  Both Janie Crews and Sheila Burlison work in the International Programs Office and will be taking on many of Julie's duties helping International Students.

Take a look at Julie's page, I am sure you will remember her if you were a TIEP student.

NEW!! TWO SUMMER TERMS

To celebrate our 30th year TIEP has begun a new calendar with six terms per year making it easier for students to arrive at nearly any time during the year. This new flexibility serves students whose work or school schedules may not match the school year in the United States. Including mid-term entry, the new calendar makes it possible for a student to arrive on any one of twelve airport pick-up dates during the year. Take a look at the new calendar:
