All students who are accepted for the Intensive English Program will be given a Conditional I-20. To attain full admission to the University of Tennessee at Martin, an undergraduate student must study intensive English until achieving a TOEFL score of 61/173/500 (ibt/computer/paper-based test) or successfully completing all levels of TIEP, while a graduate student must achieve a TOEFL score of 71/197/525 and fulfill requirements such as the GRE, GMAT, etc. before taking regular university courses.
