International Programs – Social Activities

Each term students in the Intensive English Program have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of social activities including trips to American cities, informal coffee hours, welcome parties, sporting events, a variety of concerts, live theater productions, shopping trips, camping, clubs and other recreational activities.

In the spring semester of each year during International Week, a campus-wide celebration of cultures of the world, The International Food Fair or Cafe allows international students to share their culture with the UT Martin community. Students often wear traditional clothing and with their friends prepare typical dishes of their country or culture. The International Food Fair is a great opportunity for everyone and it is always great fun for all.

Certain holidays may permit students to stay briefly with a host family in another U.S. city.
