All of the ESL Instructors are full-time, trained professionals who work closely with each student. There are no part-time teachers or teaching assistants.
There are always helpful, friendly, and professional staff members in the centralized Office of International Programs, Room 144 Gooch Hall. The staff has many years of experience helping international students. They can help students fill out forms, make telephone calls, receive mail, and direct students to what they need. All services for international students are provided by this one centralized office. Contact anyone in the office by postal or e-mail.
Advisors
Each term, faculty members are available to help students with any personal or academic concerns. The Director of International Programs also serves as international student advisor to counsel students regarding visa and immigration regulations, medical and legal problems, and preparation for entrance into UTM or another college or university.
