Beginning Adobe Acrobat 8 (updated)
In this class you will learn the Acrobat interface, how to import different types of documents, how to extract images and text from a PDF document so you do not have to retype it, how to create interactive PDF files, and how to easily distribute information on your website using PDF files.

Intermediate Adobe Acrobat
Adding interactivity is one of the best features of using Adobe Acrobat. In this class you will learn how to make PDF forms, how to change PDF forms that already exist, how to make interactive buttons, how to create a table of contents and index, how to add sounds and movies, and more!

Beginning Adobe Acrobat Connect
Allows you to have a LIVE meeting online with other people. You can do things such as… text chat, talk with each other, exchange files, view webpages together, share a whiteboard together, see video of each other, and much more.

Adobe Presenter provides an additional feature called the Quiz Manager. It gives you the ability to assess student knowledge after viewing presentation content. Quiz results can be reported to Adobe if desired.

Blackboard Focus on Feature: Adaptive Release
Adaptvie Release is a feature of Blackboard that gives instructors the ability to release content to students based on a set of rules. It creates a learning path for students to follow.

Blackboard Focus on Feature: Assignment Tool
The Assignment feature is an assignment management tool for instructors and students. This tool makes the process of assigning, reviewing, and grading student assignments more managable. No longer do you have to search through piles of paper or assignment after assignment in your Digital Drop-Box looking for a student's assignment. The Assignment Tool keeps assignments organized by automatically generating an item in the Online Gradebook. From the Online Gradebook instructors can review, grade, download, and delete student assignments. Students review then submit assignment from one location. Easier for you and your students. In this class you will learn how to implement this feature in your courses.

Blackboard Focus on Feature: Digital Drop Box and Group Pages
This course will show you how to use the Digital Drop Box to cut down on your paper trail by allowing you to exchange files with your students electronically. It will also discuss using Adobe Acrobat as a way to grade student assignments. Then, learn how you can setup a virtual meeting place for group projects.

Blackboard Focus on Feature: Review Status and Dashboard
Review Status allows instructors to view what content has been marked as reviewed by students. It can be enabled for individual content items. Once enabled, a Mark Reviewed button appears to the right of the item. Students click the Mark Reviewed button after reading the content. Instructors can then view what content has or has not been reviewed. This can be viewed from the Manage Item view or through the Performance Dashboard.

Blackboard Sync for Facebook
If you would like to get notification inside your Facebook account any time something happens in one of your Blackboard courses, then Blackboard Sync is for you!  This free plugin works for both students and faculty…anyone who has an account in Facebook and an account in our Blackboard server.  The only information that is transferred between the 2 applications is a notification that some activity has taken place.  Installation only takes a few moments, so download the handout to get the instructions.
