How do I check a document out/in so that I can make changes or add a new version/page?

 

Follow the steps below depending on what software you are using.

 

 

Web Access:

        • Check Out Documents
            1. Run a query and select the document to view
            2. On the Document Menu
            3. Choose “Check Out”
            4. Enter comments to check out
            5. Click “OK”
        • Check In Documents
            1. Document must be Checked Out in order to Check In
            2. Document must be Checked Out in order to Check In
            3. Click on the Document Menu
            4. Choose “Check In”
            5. Type in your comments
            6. Choose the revision status
            7. Click “Check In”

 

 

Document Manager:

        • Check Out Documents
            1. Right-click on the application
            2. Choose “New Query”
            3. Run query based on input data
            4. Choose document to check out by clicking on it
            5. Choose “Check Out”
            6. Enter comments to check out
            7. Click “OK”
        • Check In Documents
            1. Document must be Checked Out in order to Check In
            2. Click on the Document Menu
            3. Choose “Check In”
            4. Type in your comments
            5. Choose the revision status
            6. Click “Check In”
