Approved Equipment and Information

The following imaging packages are available and recommended by ITS.  See the Approved Equipment Table belew for detailed information on scanners and prices.

1. *Light Duty scanner – 30-60 ppm
2. *Medium Duty scanner – 40-80 ppm
3. All other scanners will go through approval process
   • Desktop scanner – 20-40 ppm
   • *Heavy Duty – 90 ppm
   • All in one – 10-20 ppm
4. All MFD requests will go through the standard MFD approval process

*Packages include paper feeder (flat beds are available as an option for additional cost) and VRS-Virtual Rescan software.  All prices include the network connection port cost and the associated computer where applicable.

Consumables are the responsibility of the department and will be carried in the Computer Store for purchase.  Consumables include Brake Roller, Pick Roller, Cleaning Kit, Toner, etc.

Departments will need to allocate appropriate office space for the equipment. The space should be convenient to those who will be scanning documents. They will also need to consider the size of the unit being purchased. Some units may perform scanning at a central location. Others may choose to provide scanning at distributed locations.

Scanners will be purchased with a 3 year warranty and warranty work performed in house.
