STATE OF THE ART TECHNOLOGY AND SERVICE - COMPUTER LABS The Office of Information Technology Services maintains several computer labs across campus. You must have a valid UT Martin staff or student ID card to gain access to the lab. Once inside, you must have a valid username and password login to gain access to the campus network. Should you need any help with the computers in the labs, all you have to do is pick up one of the phones beside the computers, dial 9, and you will be connected to the 24-hour Helpdesk. There are many places on campus for students to access computers on the campus network. For example, several departments on campus have their own computer labs/computer classrooms that they maintain for their students. The labs listed below are the ones that the Office of Information Technology Services is responsible for. At the bottom of this page you will see a campus map with the lab locations marked. For all questions or comments concerning the labs, please contact Angela Fortner at afortner@utm.edu. Lab hours of operation are as follows:

Distance Learning Classrooms The Office of Information Technology Services is responsible for the technical aspects of the UTM Distance Learning Facilities. One classroom is in the Business Administration building and the other is in Gooch Hall. These facilities are run by the Dept. of Continuing Education and are connected into the UT Statewide Video Network known as EdNet. This allows the UTM community to use realtime, compressed video teleconferencing as a part of classes, academic, or administrative meetings. |
