Hiroshima Jogakuin University

Hiroshima Jogakuin University (HJU) is a small women's college located in a historically important place, Hiroshima.

Since HJU is a women’s college, only female students can study at this institution. HJU’s Japanese program is rather small, but students have an opportunity to take regular classes with students of HJU, such as English literature courses, psychology courses, etc. Since we are official partners, UTM students do not have to pay the tuition to HJU. Students pay their tuition to UTM as they usually do.

Students are eligible to apply for UTM scholarships and sometimes for a Japanese government scholarship. HJU also offers very generous support (free rent and $300 stipend/month)!

Hiroshima is one of the most famous places worldwide!

Lisa's Study Abroad Experience

Traveling to Hiroshima was a paving stone on the path to my future and I would not trade the time I spent in Japan for anything."
