1. This web site is the official web site of the World Bank. It includes information about the bank itself and the many countries  that it services. There is also a section about the services it offers and project it is involved in. There is a links page that links to feature sites that involve the World Bank. This site has many levels of navigation off the main page to different resources and partners. The different pages seem to be very user friendly.

2. The site does not state their author, only that is was created by the World Bank. Judging by the fact that it is the official site of the World Bank one could on conclude that the information on the site is creditable.

3. What category does the site fit in (what type of information are you getting from that site)?
3. This site could be classified as main source for those studying the World Bank. The information you will get off of this site is straight for the World Bank itself.

4. What is its focus: American, non-Western, etc., time-period or general
4. The focus off this web site is not limited to regional focus, but deals with issues on an international scale.

5. Rate the information contained in the site:
5. The facts on this page are presented in an accurate manner, documented by the organization itself. The information appeared to be current discussing matters as recently as the past week. One would be encouraged to research  other sites dealing with the World Bank in order to receive an accurate assessment of the World Bank since the information you receive on this site  come form the organization itself. The criteria for this site is not listed,  but everything you find on this site will have dealing or effect the World  Bank in some way. This site seems to be very well researched by its  creators. The information contained in this site seems to be the best on  the World Bank itself.

6. This site will be stable though time, being updated last only a few days ago. The site does not list any awards, not to say that it has not received  them.

7. This site is helpful in understanding the European economy and the current economic event within the European community. I would recommend  taking a look at this site to get an overview of the European economic state.

8. Write a brief narrative summary of the site.  What courses and kinds of research would this site be most useful for?
8. This site contains valuable information about the World Bank and it’s dealings with the world economic community, from the for most experts, themselves. It is a must see web site for anyone dealing with the world economy or world affairs. It also has great links to many other related sites that could be helpful in researching world affairs.
