This site is the National Archives official site, contains national document
that the United States has compiled over the years. The only thing that you will
not find on this site is information on issue that looks at this from a point of
view other than the United States.

The author is unknown and differs from each document that you
research. Although the Director of the National Archive is listed. The
affiliation of the site is the U. S. government.

What category does the site fit in (what type of information are you getting
from that site)?
This site is obviously an Archival document due to the nature and
content of the site.

What is its focus: American, non-Western, etc., time-period or general
The main focus of this site is American, including document
about the could war and other events in Europe that involved the U.S.

The information on this site is accurate, or was at least
assumed to be at the time each document was published. The information is not
current it deal with strictly history. The information is not biased it is
simply government documents that are important to this countries history.

I would rate this site very highly. It provides a look into
the past history of America and events that shaped who we are. The last update
is not listed, and no awards were cited.

helpful/not helpful is it? Would you recommend it to other students?
This sites a great site for anyone studying American history,
or looking at the American aspect of an event in history. It also provides
information on genealogy and the roots of American citizens.

research would this site be most useful for?
I loved this site it gives you information on any event in
American history, and at the same time provides information on family history.
If you are a history buff this is a must visit site. The links and tools it
provides can’t be rivaled.
