    The CNN site is enormous. It includes everything from world news, U.S. news, sports, weather, space, entertainment, and the list just goes on and on.

    Are links provided to other sites? (and if so are they useful?)

    Yes, many links are found on this site and are very useful.

    How is the site organized? How many "levels of navigation" does it have?

    This site is organized is sections such as the above mentioned as well as having articles listed at the bottom for your browsing pleasure. It has an almost unlimited number of levels of navigation.

    How easy/difficult is the site to navigate?

    This site isn’t easy to navigate but, this is because of its size. It is quite large and complex.

    Can you tell who the author(s) is (are)?

    Some of the articles provide the author’s names but again not all.

    Do they list their credentials? Educational backgrounds?

    No.

    Are they experienced in their fields?

    I’m sure they are they work for CNN, the biggest news organization in the whole world.

    Are the authors cited by others?

    No.

    What is the site's institutional affiliation?

Its primary focus is American and its secondary focus is global.

Absolutely

Through the use of news articles.

Yes, very current.

Somewhat, because it gives the opportunity for a survey of Americans.

Must be of particular importance to not only to the nation but, to the world.

Does the site appear to be well researched?

Yes.

How does the information compare with other sources that are available on the topic? The information here is top of the line. It clearly is above the level of most sites, especially those containing this type of information.

    CNN relates to everything, especially to History 343. This site would be very helpful in most all classes and yes I would recommend it to anyone.

research would this site be most useful for?

CNN is a very broad site with the power and space to provide an answer for almost any type of question that you can think of. It list numerous articles included in magazines such as TIME, CNN Sports Illustrated, and so on. It would be ideal for any class and any types of research.
