Schedule Library-Based Instructional Activities 

Library faculty members participate in teaching/learning activities both within and outside of the classroom.  Schedule instructional assistance in the classroom or within the Library.

Recommendation for Library Purchase

Purchase requests may be submitted by completing the Library's Purchase Recommendation Form.

Book a Library Classroom

The Paul Meek Library includes 3 classrooms available for instructional activities: 

  • Library 118 – located in the Media Center, the Ryan Seminar Room seats 65 and provides projection and other audiovisual capabilities
  • Library 120 – located in the Media Center, the room seats 24 and provides projection and other audiovisual capabilities
  • Library 215 is a technology-equipped classroom that seats 28 and includes individual computers and distance education capability

Requesting a Faculty Study Room

Library Faculty Study Rooms can be requested by completing the “Faculty Reserved Library Study Rooms” form and submitting it to the Library Director’s Office.

Search Citation Information

Locate journal articles using a citation search. Fill in the form with the journal title, article title, author, and/or publication date to see if you can access the article electronically.

Interlibrary Loan

Need materials not found in the Library?  Order items from other libraries on interlibrary loan (ILL).  Request items using ILLiad (ILL fulfillment software).  First time users will need to register --  registered users login using your UT Martin portal or email logon and passwords.

Your Library Liaison

A collaborative and interactive partnership with specific UTM disciplinary and departmental assignments – liaisons are your academic/instructional library advocates.

Syllabi Collection 

A searchable database (instructor, course, and full-text) which retrieves the most current pdf copy of syllabi deposited with the Library.
