Can’t Find Material?

Visit the helpful library staff at the Information Desk (First Floor).   If you can’t visit the library, check “Get Help” on the website for more options.

 

WorldCat First Search

WorldCat® provides access to more than 2 billion items from 10,000 library partners worldwide.

  • Go to to WorldCat to search for items.    
  • In the list of results, if you see a highlighted result reading “University of Tennessee at Martin," the library should own the material.
  • If PML does not own the item, choose Click here to borrow from ILL.
  • A request form [to borrow the item from another library -- Interlibrary Loan or ILL] will open.  Information will be pre-populated on the form

ILLiad

ILLiad is software used to submit and manage your requests to borrow from other libraries. First register for an ILLiad account, then login into ILLiad using your UTM User ID and password (what your use to access the UTM portal).

InterLibrary Loan (ILL) is borrowing materials from other libraries.  

Tennessee Academic Library Collaborative (TALC)

UT Martin is a member of the Tennessee Academic Library Collaborative (TALC) which allows students, staff, and faculty to borrow from other public academic libraries.

Visit the Information Desk at the Paul Meek Library to get a universal borrower’s card.
