Salary Information
Occupational Employment Statistics--national and state data for 760 occupations. Includes wage data by job classification. Occupational employment and wage estimates at the national level are divided into seven tables, one for each occupational division (managerial, professional, sales, clerical, service, agricultural, and production).
Salary Surveys for Various Professions -- provides detailed information for approximately 50 careers. Also gives additional links to several other useful sources.
America's Career InfoNet; Wages & Trends -- provides salary ranges for hundreds of occupations by STATE. First select a category or enter a Keyword, then choose a state.

Government Jobs.Com--listings of jobs in city, county and state governments and quasi-official non-governmental

Job Resource--operated by students, for students. Posts job listings and resumes, searchable by keyword and location.

Law Enforcement Careers This site offers employment, testing and interviewing guides for federal and state police careers.
Monster Board--another job listing service, more than 50,000 job listings from more than 4000 employers. Also has employer profiles, and a nice section on self-employment.
NonProfit Career Network--a place to look for jobs and volunteer opportunities in the nonprofit sector, post your resume, and find out about the service organizations listed.
Opportunity NOCs--job opportunities in the nonprofit sector.
RehabWorld--job postings for occupational and physical therapy.
Science Professional Network--job listings, science career fairs, career workshops, and career links for scientists. From the AAAS.
Tennessee Department of Employment Security -- Occupational outlook, wages and benefits information, labor market reports and job search information.

Relocation Information
Relocation Central--another helpful tool for anyone who's moving. While the database is still growing, and not enough cities are represented, there is info on housing, banking, schools, recreation, and such for the towns that are there; there is also a moving time line calculator, and a moving expense calculator, and other handy tips.
Relocation Salary Calculator: wherein by inputting current salary, current location, and new location we find that, if someone wants me to move to Boston they need to pay me $23,000 more. How figures are calculated (consumer price index?) is not clear.
Virtual Relocation, US--anyone who's thinking of moving needs to check this out. Check by state for info on builders, rentals, mortgage lenders, schools, day care, demographics, and much more.

Company Information
Annual reports for Free--more than 3200 companies. Find your company alphabetically or by subject, and call PRAR's 800 number to request the annual report.
Vault Reports--"the Jobseeker's Secret Weapon." Profiles of major employers based on interviews with people who've worked there, tell about the kind of organization it is, the benefits and drawbacks of working there. Although the purpose of the site is to entice you into buying the full reports on each company, the snapshot profiles in themselves are quite useful.
