Currently working with:
M.F. Newman of the Australian National University on another paper about groups with prime-power order, and

George A. Willis of the University of Newcastle on a paper about totally disconnected abelian groups, which will (we hope) lead to a paper on totally disconnected nilpotent groups.

Look for these in 2002!

My Greatest Accomplishment:
Alana Belle Riley, born March 15, 1994.  (Beware the Ides of March!)
Alana was named after her father, Alan James Riley, and my grandmother, Maggie Belle Sawyers (nee Brawner)
Teaching/Research interests:
Finite p-Group Theory:  trying to solve questions posed by  Burnside, Hall, and Blackman regarding derived length  of  p-groups with respect to their order.
