Meeting Your Mathematics Requirements

Proficiency in arithmetic and elementary mathematics is considered fundamental to any college degree, anywhere in the world. At UTM student applicants must meet certain minimum requirements for enrollment, and graduates must meet certain minimum degree requirements.

Many degree programs require a single college-level mathematics course.  There are two courses offered at UTM that are designed to provide the student with a basic mathematics foundation, Mathematics 130 and Mathematics 140.  For a comparison in the content of these two courses see A Course Comparison.
