Featured Speaker: Dr. Casey Green

Monday, February 28, 2005 - "Mark Hopkins and the Digital Log"


Kenneth (Casey) Green is the founding director of The Campus Computing Project, the largest continuing study of the role of instructional technology in American higher education. Green is also visiting scholar at the School of Educational Studies of The Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, California and a visiting professor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is the author/coauthor or editor of a dozen books and published research reports and more than three dozen articles in academic journals and professional publications. Now in its fifth year, DIGITAL TWEED, Green's monthly column on technology and higher education issues, appears in SyllabusMagazine. In 2002 Green received the first EDUCAUSE Award for Leadership in Public Policy and Practice. The award cites his "prominence in the arena of national and international technology agendas." A graduate of New College in Sarasota, Florida, Green completed his master's degree at the Ohio State University and earned his Ph.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles.
