“Challenges to Civil Liberties in a Post-9/11 World”

Nadine Strossen has served as the President of the American Civil Liberties Union since 1991. A graduate of Harvard University and Harvard Law School, where she was an editor of the Harvard Law Review, she is Professor of Law at New York Law School. An inexhaustible speaker and writer, she makes over 200 public presentations per year and is the author of over 250 published works, including her latest book, Defending Pornography: Free Speech, Sex, and the Fight for Women’s Rights. She will speak on “Challenges to Civil Liberties in a Post-9/11 World” on Tuesday, September 27 at 7:30 PM in the Elam Center.
