Julien Clinton Sprott is Professor Emeritus of Physics at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.  A versatile and prolific scholar, Dr. Sprott has published over three hundred articles and six books.  Among the latter, his latest, Physics Demonstrations: A Sourcebook for Teachers of Physics (2006), relates to one of his most significant interests, the promotion of scientific education in general, and physics in particular, among the general public.  He will speak on Wonders of Physics on Friday, March 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the Watkins Auditorium of the Boling University Center.  Julien Clinton Sprott will also be the conference speaker for the American Association of Physics Teachers meeting on the UTM campus.
