Jonathan Alter is Senior Editor for Newsweek and is a Contributing Correspondent to NBC News. Among the most respected political columnists in the country, Mr. Alter has authored several well-received books, most recently The Promise: President Obama, Year One (2010). He will speak on President Obama and American Politics in Light of the November Elections on Thursday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Skyhawk Arena of the Elam Center.
