New Pacer Singers took their 8th annual concert tour in January 2012, this time to Norfolk, Virginia, Baltimore Maryland, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and New York City.
The Four Stikx Clarinet Quartet will tour Thailand in May/June of 2012 as part of a travel study. They will perform and work with faculty at Mahidol University in Bangkok, and will travel to Chaing Mai to work with school children in refugee orphanages.

Three students from the UT Martin Department of Music recently placed in the Memphis District auditions of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Asha Moody won first place in the Senior Women's Division, Vivian Mak won second place in the Senior Women's Division, and Timothy Johnson won first place in the Junior/Senior Men's Division.
